Both have new blog posts that I haven't covered yet on my blog at the time of this writing, but I will once the move to the new place has finished.
"Void Transmissions" talks about the progress of putting the books (setting and art-wise) together, while "The Reborn Sun" seems to focus on changes to the ruleset and the treatment of the setting through those rules. But the again, since these are blogs, there is some variance in the posting as well.
Recheck the Red Brick Site. They don't even have anything about Fading Suns on their site anymore.

Actually, the domain name just changed. Check the new RedBrick website instead.
ReplyDeleteYes the URL has changed, but the new site doesn't mention anything about a 3rd Edition (Unless I am completely blind). I do hope that Fading Suns does get a reboot...or even a continuance of the current version (2nd Edition). There are so many mysteries that the Fading Suns world has that can be explored through their supplements.
ReplyDeleteThough, of course, you don't need them to have the "official" supplement. My players and I have explored many mysteries and had many, many enjoyable hours. Still...I would like to see Fading Suns continue.

It's not on the news portion, but there is a thread in the forums that now talks about a June 2012 release for Fading Suns 3rd Edition.
